A Poem by Isabelle Sorrells

I would sail,

Isolated and bold,

Across the high tides

And through furious storms,

Cruising on glass

Under the vile, comforting sun.

I would navigate the world at my fingertips

And locate stars

In search for something new.

If not new, something to survive would suffice.

If only it wasn’t an ocean.
