A poem by Isabelle Sorrells
You are the moon to my ocean,
Pulling me toward you;
Making my waves,
And yet, I can’t manage to get any closer.
***
Are we doomed to be so drawn together, but to be so far away?
***
Maybe I don’t need to get closer
To be with you.
Our destinies are intertwined.
Who can defy the gravity we share?
