A poem by Isabelle Sorrells
Can you be
One with the ocean?
I should say so,
For those who explore its depths
And swim with the fishes.
Those who dare to traverse its dangerous waters,
Above or below,
On a board or with fins.
For those who will sit by it for hours,
Finding solace in the shades of blue,
And listening to it crash against the shore,
Learning its language,
As it tells the tale of the sea,
Flooding love and adventure
Into these people that take care to know it so well.
