All I’ve Never Seen

Image and poem by Isabelle Sorrells

Rock on rock,

Mountain on mountain,

Rivulets of valleys in between.

Light is cast down in pools on pieces of ground and cliff

Illuminating the places I must go.

From above, it is a world within a world,

Made with intention and vision,

A pocket dimension of unknown.

Here is the work of the hand of God

In each crevice, every height, each ridge, and every depth.

I want to disappear within

And discover all that I’ve never seen.
