Natural Beauty

A poem by Isabelle Sorrells

One sees an ugly place,

Bland and unlivable.

Yet it holds the lives of families in its land.

Perhaps it is not ugly,

Only a different kind of beautiful.

This is an artistry that requires the eye

To search with intent.

After a while the beauty comes naturally.
